User menu
The five fan parameters in the TIS Tronic 260U user menu — maximum and minimum fan output, supervision capacity, purge time and the pause between blowups.
The user menu holds the five settings you are most likely to adjust after commissioning, and all five control the fan. Hold F for 3 seconds, then open the user menu.
The number of parameters shown depends on the controller configuration — in Brager Expert modes some of these are taken over by the algorithm.
Parameters
Defines the maximum fan speed in operation mode.

Defines the minimum value of the fan speed.

If the fan makes a humming sound and does not turn, this setting is too low. Raise it to 40 %.
Sets the fan power during blowing-up when the boiler has reached the user set temperature and is running its cyclic start-ups.

How long, in seconds, the fan is turned on. Activated when the set temperature is reached on the boiler.

Attention: the purge time should not be too long, or the boiler temperature will rise too high — but not too short, or the coals will go out.
The length of the interval between the cyclic fan start-ups that maintain combustion and blow down the boiler chamber once the set temperature has been reached.

Attention: the pause should not be too long, or the coals will be extinguished — but also not too short, or the boiler temperature will rise too high.
How supervision works
Supervision is the boiler idling on a live fire. Once the water reaches setpoint:
The fan stops driving the fire.
Every pause between blowups (5 min), the fan runs for the purge time (10 s) at the supervision capacity (35 %).
That short pulse keeps the coals alive without adding meaningful heat.
When the water drops by the boiler hysteresis (2 °C), the controller returns to full Operation.
Tuning those three numbers against each other is most of the art of running a wood boiler well.
